Restore clarity and contrast to your original Game Boy or Game Boy Pocket screen with this high-quality replacement linear polarizing film.
Over time, the original polariser can degrade due to age, UV exposure, and heat — causing dark, burnt-looking screens, poor contrast, or discolouration. Replacing the polarising layer is one of the most effective ways to bring an original LCD back to life.
- Game Boy Original (DMG-01)
- Game Boy Pocket (MGB-001)
- Dark or “burnt” screen appearance
- Washed-out or low contrast display
- Yellowing or uneven screen tones
- 1x Polarising film sheet with protective plastic on both sides. 1 side has clear adhesive for easier installation (this side is marked with the line). The polarizing film measures 8.2cm x 8.2cm.
- Film must be cut to fit your screen
- Correct alignment is essential - rotate the film until optimal contrast is achieved before final cutting and placement
- Typically used as a front polariser replacement
- This is a precision repair - care is required when removing the original polariser
- Not pre-cut - suitable for both DMG and Pocket screens
